Browse and import
Start from one of hundreds of pre-built templates instead of a blank canvas.
EmailBuilder ships a public gallery of responsive email templates — welcome flows, newsletters, transactional, e-commerce, event invites, and more. The gallery is the fastest way to start a new email.
Browsing the gallery
The gallery lives at emailbuilder.ai/email-templates. Browse by category (Welcome, Newsletter, Promotion, Transactional, Event, …) or search by keyword.
Every template has:
- A live preview rendered at desktop and mobile widths.
- The MJML source visible in a collapsible code block.
- A direct link to fork it into your account.
You can also browse from inside the app at Templates → Gallery.
Importing a template
Two paths from a gallery template:
Fork to your account
Click Use this template (or Fork from inside the app). EmailBuilder:
- Copies the template's MJML to your account.
- Applies your brand colours, logo, and footer (if you've configured branding).
- Opens the editor on the new template.
Forks are independent copies — later changes to the gallery template don't affect yours. Edit freely.
Copy the MJML
For developers who want the source: every template page on the gallery shows the raw MJML. Copy it and paste into the Code mode of any email or template editor inside the app.
Starting from your own templates
In the app, + New Email opens a chooser with three sources:
| Source | When to use |
|---|---|
| Blank | You have a clear design in mind and want a clean canvas. |
| Your templates | Start from a previous template you (or your team) built. Common for recurring campaigns. |
| Gallery | Pick from the public gallery (same set as the website). |
The "Your templates" tab lists everything in your current project, filterable by tag.
Connected and saved modules
If you start from a template that uses linked modules, those references survive the import. The first time you open the forked template, EmailBuilder copies any referenced modules into your account so the template can render. From then on, edits to those modules in your account flow through to the imported template.
The system module library
Alongside the gallery, EmailBuilder ships a module library — reusable building blocks (headers, footers, hero sections, CTAs) you can drop into any template. The first time you visit the Modules page, the system library is copied into your account for editing. See Saved modules.
